It is undeniable that dogs are adorable. However, to a person who has spent some time with a beagle is well aware that dog breeds are a bit smarter than others. Such realization is particularly essential when it comes to training, as it is imperative to know which dog leads the pack.
Based on psychological research conducted by the University of British Columbia’s professor Stanely Coren, it was found that all dogs do not rank the same in regard to obedience and training. His study involved over 200 breeds and was conducted for over six months, where training and dog-obedience tests were administered. Towards the end of the survey, Coren composed a book which contained the results of some of the most intelligent dogs in the world.
