Your dog is your best friend. He’s good company, cute, smart, and he’s definitely better than your cat. Why? Well, for starters, a cat sits on your keyboard and stares at you while you’re trying to work. How annoying, right? It’s finicky about meals. It walks away from you when you call its name. This is just the beginning of the list, people.
Here are some more reasons dogs are better than cats.
You’ve had a long day at work. There’s nothing like coming home and being greeted with licks from your dog. Your cat, on the other hand, is still angry at you for leaving her alone all day. The nerve!
When your dog has done something wrong, there’s that certain look of guilt on its face. It may have torn your throw pillows to shreds, but it will feel very sorry for it, and you will know it. Your cat will get up to no good and be sneaky about it. You won’t realize there’s a dead mouse in your shoe until you go to put it on. Forget about bringing up with your cat; it will just look at you sideways and wonder why you aren’t petting it.
Dogs have a cute way of tilting their head to let you know they are listening. They may not understand every word you’re saying, but they will sit obediently and give you a supportive stare. Cats don’t really care what you have to say. They just want to know where their food is and can they take a nap yet? It’s been minutes.
There’s nothing better than calling for your dog and having it run towards you, happy as can be. They love the attention. Cats love the attention too, but on their own time. Call their name, and they’re likely to walk AWAY from you. Cats would employ a secretary to take their messages for them if they could.
Cats just look ridiculous on a leash.
